ESTIMATOR JR. CONTRACTOR
Full-Time Position | Raleigh, North Carolina
Demolition & Asbestos Removal, Inc. (DARI) is seeking a motivated Junior Estimator to join our Raleigh Division.
This position is ideal for an early-career professional with 1-2 years of construction or estimating experience who is ready to develop their skills and build a career in the environmental remediation and demolition industry.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
1-2 years of estimating, construction, engineering, or related industry experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to work collaboratively with estimating, project management, and field teams
Bluebeam or other construction estimating software experience is a plus.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with project cost estimates
• Review project scopes and bidding requirements
• Attend pre-bid meetings and project site walkthroughs
• Assist with subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Prepare and organize estimating documentation
• Assist in developing accurate and competitive project proposals
• Coordinate with project managers and field personnel throughout the estimating process
