JOB DETAILS:
Position:Jr. Robotics and PLC Engineering Technician
JOB REF#:44934 - 1510068
Duration:12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location:ONSITE - San Antonio, TX 78264
Pay Rate:$30.00 - $36.00 per hour (W2 Only)
** Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense**
** This is role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered**
DAILY TASKS:
On-site robot programming and interlocking.
Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials
Prepare and confirm new Body weld equipment at the vendors
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Inspect and confirm new or modified equipment and to prepare that equipment for manufacturing production.
On-site Robot programming and interlocking
Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended
Prepare and confirm new Bodyweld equipment at the vendors
Support weld machine SEIBI activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials
Traveling to different plants in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience with robotics, PLCs, and industrial machinery. Recent college graduates with hands-on robotics and PLC experience will also be considered.
Experience with TOYOPUC and Omron PLCs preferred; however, candidates with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLC experience may also be considered.
Hands-on industrial Robot programming (teach, touch-up, interlocks)
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Other Requirements:
66%: Travel - Domestic and International (able to obtain a US Passport)
50%: Over-time - which covers weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required
PPE: Will wear Steel Toed Shoes/Hard Hat and Safety Glasses
MUST have a valid driver's license
Desired Skills/Nice To Have's:
Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field
Automotive experience - Automotive manufacturing environments (plant floor, equipment validation, production readiness)
Experience with mentoring and/or technical training
