RESPONSIBILITIES

Job InformationThe Modeling & Analytics Lead is a dynamic, self-motivated individual, able to work as a collaborative member of the Production Operations team to deliver operational excellence and to ensure all controls are executed accurately, completely and in a timely manner. They support all processes related to the issuance and ongoing administration of mortgage-backed securities while serving as a subject matter expert in one or more team functions.

Key Job Functions

  • Reverse engineer and maintain deal level payrules used to calculate multi-class securitization factors and payments
  • Onboard securities/deals to facilitate bond administration and IRS tax calculations and reporting
  • Participate in status meetings with clients and other key stakeholders
  • Collaborate with product owners and key stakeholders to identify and implement system and process improvement opportunities
  • Support internal/external audit exams
  • Develop queries, analyses, or reports from applications for operations or management staff of assigned business unit(s), or develop specifications for such queries or analyses to be performed by others
  • Lead/participate in testing and acceptance of newly developed platform functionality
  • Train and mentor more junior analysts
QUALIFICATIONS

Education   

  • Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, technical discipline, or industry related experience.

Minimum Experience  

  • Minimum 7 years with 3 years of related experience in the Mortgage-backed Securities industry.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship currently or in the future. U.S. FinTech does not offer H-1B sponsorship for this position.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills     

  • Knowledge of MBS and the housing finance industry
  • Strong analytical and technical skillset (e.g. SQL, VBA, C++) including Excel formulas and functions
  • Experience with Intex or related software a plus
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong team player and has the capacity to work collaboratively and effectively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range $156,500 to $181,000

U.S. FinTech's pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. U.S. FinTech offers a competitive total compensation package, which includes a performance bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage, PTO, and a broad range of other benefits.
