Job description

We are seeking a Junior Pipe Stress Engineer for assignment in Chandler, Arizona. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing pipe stress analysis.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Candidates can work a Hybrid schedule in Chandler, AZ
Responsibilities

- Perform pipe stress analysis
- Specifying applicable pipe support details
- Adjudicating all QA comments
- Performing QA of the 3D model confirming the final design matches the stress analysis and pipe support selection
- Developing any new attachment hardware (pipe support) details, its corresponding allowable load table, and QA the 3D attachment hardware block in the 3D piping deliverable
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years experience as a Piping or Pipe Stress Engineer
- Familiarity with AutoPIPE or Caesar II
- Experience working in construction environments, including field verifications
