In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for a myriad of clinical duties that underpin our commitment to quality care:

• Conduct detailed psychosocial assessments to establish baseline client needs and guide treatment planning.
• Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders while continuously modifying treatment plans based on client progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop comprehensive discharge plans, ensuring clients receive continuous care beyond therapy.
• Adhere strictly to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility standards, while acting within the scope of the Mental Health Practice Act.
• Organize daily tasks based on patient needs, prioritizing effectively to manage both new and ongoing client cases.
• Provide referrals for additional services such as community resources, treatment programs, and support groups to enhance clients' well-being.
• Communicate actively with other patient care teams, agencies, and external providers to facilitate timely resolution of issues impacting client care.
• Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring clear and constructive communication within care teams.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC; eligibility for further credentialing may be required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills necessary for building rapport with clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
• A strong capacity for empathy, advocacy, and the support of clients through their therapeutic journeys.
