They collaborate with cross-functional teams, set product strategies, gather requirements, and ensure products meet market needs—all through virtual communication tools. Remote product managers must excel at digital collaboration, communication, and project management to keep teams aligned and projects on track. This role has become increasingly popular as companies embrace distributed workforces and global talent.

What does a remote product manager do?

Instead of working in the office, remote product managers complete their job duties from home or another location outside of the office. As a remote product manager, your responsibilities may include assessing current market trends and consumer needs to determine where new market niches are emerging and how your company’s existing products fit in those markets. You also oversee the team that develops and implements the release of new technology products to fill these niches. Many remote product managers have sales or marketing backgrounds; this experience provides valuable insight into consumer trends and satisfying customer needs.

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and communicative Junior Technical Product Manager to join our Product team. In this role, you will serve as the critical bridge between our engineering team and our internal stakeholders—specifically Operations, Customer Success, and Sales.

This position is laser-focused on internal enablement. You will be responsible for triaging technical requests, managing production support escalations, and translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable documentation. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring product manager to build foundational PM skills while making a positive impact on the daily efficiency of our company.
What you will work on
The Technical Product Manager, will focus on technical delivery, production support, and operational enablement in collaboration with product, engineering, and business stakeholders. You will report to the Senior Product Manager of valuations.

Internal Stakeholder Management & Feature Delivery
  • Partner closely with Operations, Customer Success, and Sales teams to
understand their technical pain points and internal tooling needs.
  • Translate internal business needs into clear, technical requirements and user stories for the engineering team.
  • Prioritize and maintain a backlog of internal technical requests, ensuring engineering resources are aligned with the highest-impact internal needs.
  • Act as the project manager for internal tech deliverables, ensuring smooth rollouts, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and communicating updates
    to stakeholders.

Production Support & Issue Triage

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical production issues escalated by
    internal teams.
  • Perform initial investigations of reported bugs, attempting to replicate issues and gather necessary technical logs or data before passing them to engineering.
  • Categorize and prioritize bugs based on business impact, severity, and
    frequency.
  • Keep internal teams continuously updated on the status of critical bugs, providing
expected resolution times and temporary workarounds when applicable.
Knowledge Management & Team Enablement

  • Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive internal technical knowledge
    base.
  • Write clear, digestible documentation that explains technical product capabilities,
limitations, and workflows to non-technical audiences.
  • Create step-by-step guides for troubleshooting common customer issues to
empower teams to resolve problems without engineering intervention.
  • Host training sessions for internal teams when major technical updates or new internal tools are released.
Who we are looking for
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in a technical support, business analyst,
project management, or junior product management role.
  • A solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum). You don't need to write code, but you should be comfortable discussing APIs, databases, and system architectures with engineers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to translate
complex technical concepts into plain English.
  • A highly analytical mindset with a passion for digging into issues, finding root
    causes, and developing scalable solutions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple requests, bugs, and documentation tasks simultaneously
    without dropping the ball.
  • A deep appreciation for the challenges faced by customer-facing and operational teams, and a desire to make their jobs easier.
  • Experience with ticketing and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ClickUp) is a plus.
  • Experience in valuation, mortgage, fintech, or related industries is highly desired.
What You Can Expect
  • Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $76,300 to $102,500 annually, depending on your location, experience, and qualifications. Additional compensation offerings include company profit-sharing bonus program, communication stipends, and referral bonuses.

We offer company paid access to Galileo for virtual primary care and Rula for virtual mental health resources.
  • Through our Anniversary Program, we celebrate the meaningful milestones and long tenure that reflect how much we value your contributions and commitment to our team.
  • Career and skill development resources to help advance your career and personal growth.
  • A mission-driven environment where your work makes a measurable impact on the real estate industry.
