Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality, scalable business solutions on the Salesforce platform, aligning with business needs and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to develop applications within Salesforce and proactively investigate and resolve integration challenges.
  • Review and provide recommendations on Salesforce license requirements, demonstrating a solid understanding of various Salesforce license models.
  • Create comprehensive technical designs for implementing key business functionalities, including document generation, external data management, business rules validation, and workflow automation.
  • Provide expert advice to UI/UX designers on best-practice approaches for translating customer requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Mentor and guide junior Salesforce developers through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and collaborative problem-solving.
  • Proactively recommend and implement enhancements and new functionalities within Salesforce, while also providing timely support and effective solutions for break/fix issues.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication and collaboration with other technical resources and stakeholders regarding project status, technical challenges, and innovative solutions.
  • Perform ongoing Salesforce administration tasks, including user account and profile management, defining custom fields, updating page layouts, and creating insightful reports and dashboards.
  • Provide comprehensive support for hosted applications, encompassing log monitoring, performance analysis, deployment support, and responding effectively to user inquiries.
  • Develop administrative Salesforce tools and functionalities to streamline processes and enhance user productivity.
  • Thoroughly investigate and troubleshoot platform-related issues to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
  • Efficiently manage and respond to incident tickets using a designated tracking tool, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with end-users.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the Salesforce environment by identifying areas for optimization and documenting best practices and operational procedures.
Work Location

This position requires 4 days onsite in a WSFS Bank office (Monday-Thursday) and an option to work remotely on Friday.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience, including significant exposure to complex development projects, data dashboards, interfaces, and system integrations.
  • Banking and/or financial services industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in key development languages and data formats such as JSON, XML, JavaScript, and SOQL .
  • Must have proven experience working with multi‑system architectures and implementing redundancy design principles.
  • Must have solid understanding and practical experience with Agile development methodologies and project management tools, such as Copado and Jira.
  • Must have possession of relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform Builder.
  • Experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud is preferred.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms, particularly MuleSoft is preferred.
  • Demonstrate understanding Salesforce security best practices and data governance is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Salary Range

$77,390.00 - $127,139.75 Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job‑related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation (WSFS) and its subsidiaries may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula‑based incentive and retention awards.
