Responsibilities: 

  • Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated baseline schedules and monthly schedule updates using LAUSD review templates. 

  • Assist the scheduling team in creating and populating schedule-related reports in Excel and Primavera P6 software. 

  • Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines. 

  • Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements. 

  • Analyze schedules for proper use of program-level standard codes, layouts, and reports necessary to maintain data integrity. 

  • Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types. 

  • Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from Facilities teams on projected and forecasted sequential start and finish dates. 

Qualifications: 

  • One (1) year of full-time paid professional experience responsible for scheduling for an owner or general contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects. 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in engineering, architecture, or construction management. 

  • Proficiency in the latest version of Primavera P6, specifically P6 v19, and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with project teams and department staff. 

  • Superior organizational and planning skills. 

Compensation: 

Salary range: $90,000 to $110,000/yearly (dependent on years of experience, competency, travel requirements)
