Job description

Software Engineer III

Wanted by ModivCare Solutions LLC in Denver, CO. 40hrs/wk.

Hybrid work benefits available. Must live within MSA of worksite.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Develop and maintain software applications using programming and scripting languages, business process toolsets, data modeling techniques, and reporting tools to support enterprise needs.
  • Implement new system modules and data layouts by leading design discussions, collaborating with software architects, and documenting functional and technical specifications.
  • Execute full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, unit and functional testing, debugging, and partnering with Quality Assurance to resolve defects.
  • Administer release management processes, including version control, continuous integration and continuous deployment activities, and coordinates with IT teams to ensure successful installation and functioning of applications.
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers, conduct technology overview sessions, and present software demonstrations to leadership and product stakeholders in support of organizational growth and knowledge sharing.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field and 5 years of experience in job offered or related position.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR REQUIREMENTS:
  • 36 months of experience with enterprise relational database systems such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
  • 24 months of experience implementing and designing Service-Oriented Architectures using SOAP protocol and REST-based APIs.
  • 12 months of experience working with modern source control systems and applying branching concepts.
  • 12 months of experience with release management processes, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  • 36 months of experience following test-driven development processes, including mastery of unit testing and mocking frameworks.
  • 36 months of experience developing EDI interfaces and HIPAA-compliant transaction sets.
  • 36 months of experience with RedPoint, CorePoint, or Edifecs EDI solutions.
  • 24 months of experience with the IT department's source control system, application lifecycle management toolset, and the release management process.
  • 36 months of experience with high issue resolution, coupled with high level of solutioning.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

Annual Salary: $164,112.00 - $170,100.00 When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
