THE OPPORTUNITY:

Are you an Early Childhood Educator who is highly organized, takes initiative, and is ready to grow your career beyond the classroom?

Fueling Brains Academies is looking for a proactive and dependable Operations Coordinator to support our childcare centres across Calgary. This is a junior-level opportunity for someone who understands the day-to-day realities of childcare, has a good understanding of Alberta licensing requirements, and enjoys keeping things organized and moving forward.

In this role, you'll work closely with our leadership team and Centre Directors, supporting everything from licensing and documentation to staffing, scheduling, projects, training, and centre operations.

If you're someone who naturally follows up, takes ownership, enjoys solving problems, and is always willing to lend an extra hand, this could be a great next step in your childcare career.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Create and maintain plans, reports, trackers, templates, and operational documents
  • Keep shared drives, records, and documentation organized and up to date
  • Support staff scheduling, staffing coordination, and operational follow-ups
  • Track action items and help ensure deadlines and commitments are followed through
  • Visit centres across Calgary when additional operational support is required
  • Step in to provide Centre Director coverage when needed
  • Help coordinate Professional Development (PD) Days, training sessions, meetings, and larger events
  • Support projects and initiatives across multiple campuses
  • Work closely with Centre Directors and leadership to identify gaps, coordinate next steps, and keep priorities moving forward

WHAT YOU BRING:

  • Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification (Level 3) is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Knowledge or experience with Alberta childcare licensing requirements, compliance, and/or licensed childcare operations is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working within a licensed childcare environment
  • Experience or exposure to licensing, compliance, childcare operations, administration, or leadership responsibilities is an asset
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence working with reports, trackers, schedules, documentation, and shared files
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with Centre Directors and other teams
  • Flexibility to travel between Fueling Brains Academy locations across Calgary as required

WHY THIS ROLE?

This is an opportunity to take your childcare experience in a new direction while continuing to make an impact across our centres. You'll gain exposure to different areas of childcare operations, work alongside experienced leaders, and support multiple campuses while developing your operational and leadership skills.

If you're ready to learn, take on new challenges, and become a trusted extra set of hands for our operations team,we'd love to hear from you!
