A junior network administrator works as part of a team to ensure the optimal performance of an organization’s computer network. Your responsibilities in this career are to install and set up hardware and other equipment. You configure the server and all workstations to connect to the LAN and the internet. Your duties as a junior network administrator also involve troubleshooting connectivity issues and updating and upgrading the components as necessary. Depending on the size of the IT team, you may also handle the maintenance of operating systems, software, cloud services, and security.
