Tree Logistics is a global logistics company specialized in customized transportation solutions worldwide. Our services include ocean freight, air freight, inland transportation, project cargo, breakbulk, RoRo, warehousing, distribution, and NVOCC operations.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Senior Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our operations team in Miami.

Position Overview

The Senior Logistics Coordinator will play a key leadership role within the operations department, managing complex logistics movements, supervising shipment execution, supporting junior team members, and ensuring operational excellence across international trades and projects.

This position requires strong operational experience in freight forwarding and NVOCC environments, high problem-solving capacity, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee international import and export shipments
  • Manage ocean, inland, breakbulk, RoRo, and project cargo operations
  • Handle direct coordination with:
  • Steamship lines
  • Trucking companies
  • Ports and terminals
  • Warehouses
  • Overseas agents
  • Customs brokers
  • Supervise shipment execution from booking to final delivery
  • Monitor cargo schedules, deadlines, and operational performance
  • Review and approve shipping documentation including:
  • Bills of Lading
  • Commercial Invoices
  • Packing Lists
  • Delivery Orders
  • AES filings
  • Customs documentation
  • Provide operational support and guidance to junior coordinators
  • Resolve operational and customer service escalations proactively
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and business partners
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and international shipping regulations
  • Assist management with operational improvements and process development
  • Support commercial and management teams with logistics planning and execution
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or NVOCC operations
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping processes and documentation
  • Experience handling containerized cargo, breakbulk, project cargo, or RoRo operations
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Fluent English required
  • Spanish strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software systems
