Le coordinateur des opérations et de la logistique joue un rôle de soutien important au sein de l'équipe de l'entrepôt. Ce poste de débutant consiste à aider au suivi des expéditions, à tenir des registres d'inventaire précis et à veiller au bon déroulement des processus de l'entrepôt. Le candidat idéal est organisé, soucieux du détail et désireux d'en apprendre davantage sur la logistique et le contrôle des stocks dans un environnement de distribution en constante évolution.
Responsabilités principales
Inventaire
  • Mettre à jour les feuilles de comptage pour le responsable de l'entrepôt afin de coordonner les comptages hebdomadaires.
  • Aider au comptage cyclique et au comptage physique complet des stocks.
  • Communiquer les articles en rupture de stock au responsable des opérations et à l'équipe des achats.
Coordination logistique
  • Prendre les rendez-vous de livraison et coordonner les enlèvements avec les transporteurs.
  • Suivre et assurer le suivi des expéditions entrantes et sortantes afin de garantir une livraison dans les délais.
  • Aider à tenir à jour les registres et la documentation relatifs aux expéditions.
Santé et sécurité
  • Respectez toutes les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise en matière de santé et de sécurité (H&S).
  • Portez l'équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) requis lorsque vous vous trouvez dans les zones désignées.
  • Maintenez un environnement de travail propre, sûr et organisé et signalez immédiatement tout problème de sécurité.

Qualifications et compétences
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent (une formation postsecondaire en logistique ou en chaîne d'approvisionnement est un atout).
  • Grand souci du détail et volonté d'apprendre.
  • Bonnes aptitudes organisationnelles et communicationnelles.
  • Connaissances informatiques de base ; la maîtrise des tableurs ou de la saisie de données est un atout.

La maîtrise de l'anglais est requise pour coordonner les enlèvements, les livraisons et prendre des rendez-vous avec les fournisseurs, les clients et les partenaires situés à l'extérieur du Québec.

Position Summary

The Operations and Logistics Coordinator plays an important supporting role within the warehouse team. This entry-level position assists with tracking shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring warehouse processes run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn more about logistics and inventory control within a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory
  • Update count sheets for the warehouse manager to coordinate weekly counts.
  • Assist with cycle counts and full physical inventory counts.
  • Communicate out of stock items to the operations manager and the buying team.
Logistics Coordination
  • Book delivery appointments and coordinate pickup with carriers.
  • Track and follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Help maintain shipping records and documentation.
Health & Safety
  • Follow all company Health and Safety (H&S) policies and procedures.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in designated areas.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and report any safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications and Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain is an asset).
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with spreadsheets or data entry is an asset.
