We are looking to hire 3-5 motivated, entry level Sales/Jr. Producersto join our growing Retail (Brokerage) team. This role is ideal for someone who is coachable, business-minded, and ready to build a career in a supportive and growth-focused environment in an Insurance Sales role. Your ability to listen and empathize are key in being the initial contact for our customers. Success in this role will require the ability to build a strong local network and in-person relationships in your target sales area/niches.Obtaining a P&C license is required within the first 6 months of employment, where Novacore will reimburse all employees who successfully pass the exam.

**This role will be hybrid from our Conshohocken, PA Home Office**

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales.
  • Follow up on warm leads and generate new business through outreach.
  • Assist customers with quotes, policy questions, and coverage options.
  • Learn agency operations and support business development strategies.
  • Maintain accurate client records and follow compliance procedures.
  • Make outbound sales calls to all leads, convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Take inbound sales calls, convert them into sales.
  • Identifies cross selling opportunities.
  • Meet goals for new business sales.
  • Complete follow-ups on new policies in order to keep retention level high and capitalize cross-selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate activities with other groups to ensure quality customer service.
  • Act as initial contact in addressing customer concerns regarding establishment of policies and new account status.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree, Risk, Sales and/or Business preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle common objections and educate customers in a consultative manner.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, motivated to learn and grow in a professional sales organization.
  • Professional business acumen, strong presence and confidence.
  • Resourceful team player; can contribute and accept new ideas.
  • A strong interest in building a career in insurance and sales.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and eager to grow through ongoing training
  • Organized, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently
  • No prior insurance experience necessary.
