Compensation: $100K+ OTE
Location: Puyallup, WA

We are excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Insurance Broker position, offered by our client, a leading provider of a wide range of insurance services including Family Health Plans, Medicare Solutions, Employer Benefits, Dental, Vision, Life, Travel, Disability, and Critical Illness Insurance.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, evaluating competitive insurance policies, and ensuring clients receive tailored coverage that meets their needs. Your expertise in leading high-value client consultations, driving business growth, optimizing policy placements, and maintaining strong carrier relationships will contribute significantly to the company's success and long-term client retention.
Senior Insurance Broker Job Responsibilities
  • Guide clients in choosing insurance policies that best meet their needs, providing expert advice and recommendations.
  • Prepare quotes, process applications, and help clients understand their coverage options.
  • Provide timely and efficient service to clients, resolving issues and handling inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and industry changes to offer clients the most relevant and competitive options.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies when processing applications and claims.
  • Manage client policies, making necessary updates and ensuring timely renewals.
  • Support in maintaining an organized and up-to-date client database.
  • Collaborate with team members to share best practices and learn from others to consistently improve performance.
  • Train and mentor junior employees to help grow the agency.

Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Valid insurance license and continuation of education credits as required.
  • Complete and maintain all required federal and local licenses and carrier certifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person, via phone/email, and virtually.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Deep knowledge of the latest insurance industry trends, products, regulations.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems including insurance systems/portals, CRM (Client Relationship Management) or AMS (Agency Management System) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Performance will be evaluated on key metrics, including policy sales volume and client retention rates, customer satisfaction scores, lead engagement and conversion rates, compliance accuracy, and contributions to revenue growth.
