Cochran's Ozark, Missouri location, is looking for a Licensed Civil Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and lead engineering projects from planning and design through construction
  • Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design plans, and specifications
  • Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination
  • Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed
  • Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff
  • Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and contractor inquiries during construction

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • EIT certification required
  • PE license preferred, or actively pursuing PE licensure
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience, ideally in water and wastewater design and construction
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other relevant design software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Preferred Experience:
  • Municipal or utility client experience
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and regulatory agencies (e.g., EPA, DNR)
  • Hydraulic modeling software (e.g., WaterCAD, SewerCAD)
