Junior Financial Analyst - Position Description

ICI Services-a 100% employee-owned company proudly celebrating 26 years of excellence-is seeking Junior Financial Analyst to immediately support our Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems Business and Financial Management Support (PEO IWS BFM) Team at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Washington, DC.

Security Clearance:
  • Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with established procedures, regulations, and organizational objectives.
  • Enter financial data into government approved systems for obligation and procurement such as Navy Enterprise Resource Planning or Standard Procurement System.
  • Support Senior Financial Analyst in the development and issuance of formal financial policies and directives, and various analysis as directed.

Experiences:
  • Experience with Navy Financial Systems including but not limited to: Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Program Budget Information System (PBIS), Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA) and NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS) is preferred.
  • 1-4 years of experience supporting a Navy Program.

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, or another related field.
