About the Role

ISC Constructors is looking for a curious, driven, early-career developer to join our Enterprise Solutions team. As a Junior Developer you will work alongside our Enterprise Solutions Architect and existing development staff to build and maintain financial and operational reporting, custom applications, automate business processes, and develop data-driven solutions that directly support field operations, estimating, and project management across a leading national industrial electrical contractor.

You will receive direct mentorship from experienced technical staff while being given opportunities to take ownership and grow.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain custom internal applications and business tools supporting field operations, project setup, and reporting

• Build and maintain integrations between enterprise systems including our ERP platform and third-party applications

• Design and query relational databases; work with large structured and unstructured datasets to support analytics and reporting initiatives

• Develop dashboards and data visualizations for leadership and operations teams

• Assist in the design and deployment of AI-assisted workflows. including document intelligence, automated reporting, and process automation using modern AI platforms and APIs

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering with department stakeholders through testing, deployment, and documentation

• Contribute to workflow automation initiatives that reduce manual processes across estimating, project management, and financial operations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language

• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL through coursework, internships, employment, or personal projects

• Exposure to working with large datasets, data cleaning, transformation, aggregation, and analysis

• Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, or machine learning concepts

• Basic understanding of REST APIs and system integration concepts

• A problem-solver mentality, you enjoy figuring out how things work and finding a better way to do them

• Strong communication skills, you will regularly translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders

Why ISC Constructors

• Work on real, production systems that impact business, not internal tools that nobody uses

• Learn from experienced professionals. Receive direct mentorship while working alongside senior technical staff with deep knowledge of ISC's systems and operations.

• Gain broad technical experience. Work across application development, databases, analytics, system integrations, automation, and artificial intelligence.

• Work directly with the business. See how the solutions you develop affect projects, operations, financial performance, and decision-making.

• Build with modern technology. Gain practical experience with AI, APIs, data engineering, business intelligence, and enterprise application development.

• Grow with the company. ISC is actively investing in technology, automation, data, and AI as strategic capabilities supporting the company's continued growth.
