Job Title: Junior Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US * * * The Opportunity: CACI has an immediate opening for an Electrical / Mechanical / Systems / Ocean Engineer to support engineering and planning efforts for Submarine Rescue and Undersea Mobility platforms at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine. Responsibilities: Develop modernization plans/changes for the US Navy Deep Submergence Assets and Support Systems Perform mechanical, electrical and/or structural analysis Evaluate components and materials and systems to ensure system integration, compatibility and stability Some travel will be required Work will be in support of US Navy Submarines, Submersibles or Deep Submergence projects Qualifications: Required: Electrical / Mechanical / Systems / Ocean engineering degree from an ABET Accredited College/University (other degree disciplines may be considered) Professional engineering experience performing complex engineering calculations such as heat transfer, fluid flow, piping stress, mechanical stress etc. Experience with configuration management and document control Demonstrated ability to manage work in a time-sensitive operational environment Ability to achieve excellence working individually or as part of a team Well-developed interpersonal skills Attention to detail Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret clearance Desired: Prior experience specifically with US Navy Deep Submergence Assets and Support Systems.

Familiarity with Scope of Certification (P9290/Man-010) requirements Electrical power background (NSTM 300) Familiarity with Military Specifications, ANSI and ASME standards Related submarine / submersible experience with design, maintenance, operations, repair and/or testing Experience with MS Office suite of products This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
