Position Overview

The Senior NetSuite Developer / Solutions Architect will lead the design and delivery of solutions on the NetSuite ERP platform to address complex business requirements. This role will leverage deep expertise across NetSuite's core and advanced modules—including Advanced Manufacturing, WMS, Field Service Management, CRM, and CPQ—to deliver ERP solutions that solve our most critical business process challenges. The ideal candidate combines strong technical development skills with solution architecture capabilities and a passion for enabling business operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own and drive the overall NetSuite solution architecture, technical roadmap, and delivery.
  • Lead design, code review, and deployment strategies for NCS's ERP systems, ensuring adherence to dev-ops best practices and internal controls.
  • Architect and implement solutions across key modules: Advanced Manufacturing, WMS (including RF-Smart), Field Service Management, CRM, and CPQ.
  • Design and build complex workflows using SuiteFlow and custom SuiteScript (User Events, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce, Suitelets, RESTlets).
  • Partner with third-party vendors and integration platforms (Boomi, Celigo) on implementation, design, and architecture best practices.
  • Assess NCS's ERP roadmap to identify and lead execution of optimization opportunities.
  • Work with NCS manufacturing business units to identify and execute solutions for ERP configuration and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers and collaborate with contractors to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs and deployment procedures.
Required Experience & Skills
  • 5+ years of NetSuite development experience in a multi-subsidiary manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing, WMS (native and/or RF-Smart), and Field Service Management (FSM) modules.
  • Experience with NetSuite CRM module (lead-to-quote, opportunity management, case management).
  • Experience with NetSuite CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) including quote generation, product configuration, pricing rules, and approval workflows.
  • Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x development including User Events, Scheduled Scripts, Map/Reduce, Suitelets, and RESTlets.
  • Experience with SuiteFlow for workflow automation and approval processes.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite custom record types, fields, forms, roles/permissions, saved searches, reports, and the NetSuite data model.
  • Experience with SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) for version control and deployment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP system internal controls and dev-ops best practices.
  • Experience with integration technologies including SuiteTalk (SOAP/REST APIs), Boomi, and/or Celigo.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and written/verbal communication skills.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.  
    • NetSuite Administrator and/or SuiteCloud Developer certification.
    • Experience with Advanced PDF/HTML templates for custom transaction documents (POs, invoices, packing slips).
    • Experience with NetSuite Analytics or reporting tools.
    • Background in car wash, automotive, or industrial equipment industries a plus.
