Job Summary

The Full Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web applications and supporting services. This role collaborates closely with senior engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives. Beyond core application development, the position includes operational support responsibilities such as monitoring and reviewing logs, troubleshooting service issues, and contributing to database query optimization. Essential Functions

  • Design, develop, and enhance scalable front-end and back-end features using modern JavaScript frameworks and best practices
  • Build, maintain, and evolve RESTful APIs and supporting application services to ensure reliability and performance

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong proficiency in Node.js for building scalable, high-performance backend services.
  • Strong proficiency in React.js for developing responsive, maintainable front-end applications.
  • Deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and contemporary web standards, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including designing schemas and writing optimized, efficient queries.
  • Practical experience implementing automated testing using frameworks such as Jest or Mocha.
  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and integration best practices.
  • Proficient in Git-based version control workflows, including branching, merging, and collaborative development practices.
  • DevOps & Systems Exposure:
  • Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker preferred), CI/CD pipelines, and foundational cloud infrastructure concepts.
  • Ability to analyze application logs, trace system-level issues, and support production troubleshooting.
  • Foundational understanding of performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance software development workflows.
  • Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated code and documentation.
  • Understanding of responsible AI usage within production environments, including security, quality, and governance considerations.
