Job Summary:
TransPerfect is the world's largest provider of language services and technology solutions for global business. They are seeking a Junior Frontend Engineer to build and evolve a drag-and-drop app builder used across the company, collaborating on frontend architecture decisions and implementing highly interactive UIs.
Responsibilities:
• Build and evolve a drag-and-drop app builder used across the company
• Collaborate and shape frontend architecture decisions (React / Next.js)
• Implement highly interactive, state-heavy UIs
• Create component systems that non-developers can configure and use
• Balance performance, usability, and flexibility in a complex environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• A portfolio/Git account that shows you’ve built things
• Strong performance mindset
• React / Next.js (you’ve built and deployed projects)
• TypeScript: you understand the why of types
• Modern CSS: Experience with Tailwind and/or MUI (we use both)
• State Management: Understand how data flow through a complex application
• You can design dense interfaces that still feel usable
• You think about how users actually interact with systems
• You understand tradeoffs between flexibility and clarity
• You’re comfortable shaping UX—not just implementing it
