Job description

This role requires an understanding of design concepts, technical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Senior Designers with development of conceptual space plans, design concepts, and presentation materials

• Produce schematic design, design development, and construction documentation

• Assist Project Managers and Senior Designers with coordination with engineers and consultants

• Assist with selection of finishes, furniture, and materials

• Understanding of building codes and ADA requirements

• Assist with construction administration activities as requested


Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited University or College

• 2–3 years of professional commercial interior design experience

• Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite

• Understanding of building systems, materials, and codes

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Strong hand-sketching ability

• Pursuing NCIDQ certification
