Position Overview

Willow & Bloom Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team as we expand our telehealth outpatient services. This full-time position allows for a flexible schedule while making a significant impact on the mental health of individuals in Georgia, particularly in Douglasville. As an LPC, you will be instrumental in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients facing a range of mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through intake evaluations and diagnostic interviews to establish a thorough understanding of each client’s needs.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
  • Provide ongoing therapeutic sessions with clients to support their mental health journey and goal attainment, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Facilitate crisis intervention for clients experiencing immediate mental health issues, providing timely support to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation that adheres to ethical standards, state regulations, and clinic policies, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to deliver well-rounded care to clients and to enhance treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and, if desired, supervise and mentor clinical interns or junior counselors as they build their skills in providing mental health support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The individuals you will serve come from diverse backgrounds and present with varied mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma-related issues, grief, and relationship difficulties. This role emphasizes culturally competent therapy, recognizing the importance of understanding and respecting the unique cultural narratives of each client while fostering an inclusive therapeutic space.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
  • A valid, unrestricted Professional Counselor license (LPC) in the state of Georgia is essential for this role.
