This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while engaging with clients through a secure telehealth platform. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule within a Monday to Friday framework from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling you to strike a balance between your professional and personal life. As a member of a supportive community, you will collaborate with other mental health professionals from the comfort of your own space.

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing therapeutic services to clients navigating a variety of mental health challenges, including mood disorders, trauma, grief, and stress management.
• Conducting thorough mental health assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic procedures to gain comprehensive insights into client needs.
• Collaboratively developing personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to enhance client growth and healing.
• Building strong, trusting relationships with clients by establishing meaningful goals and treatment strategies that drive positive change in their lives.
• Responding promptly to client crises, delivering immediate support and interventions as necessary.
• Maintaining precise and timely clinical documentation compliant with ethical guidelines and clinic policies to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development and offering mentorship to interns or junior counselors, furthering your own and others’ growth in the field.

Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A valid, unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting, demonstrating effective therapeutic practices.
• A demonstrated understanding of ethical principles and confidentiality laws relevant to mental health counseling.

While not mandatory, the following experience will be considered a plus:

• Experience working with trauma survivors, grief counseling, or in couples therapy.
• Familiarity with adolescent counseling techniques and strategies.
• Proficiency in diverse therapeutic approaches and strong assessment skills to develop effective treatment plans tailored to client needs.
