Job Description:

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Jr. Systems Engineer who will be at the forefront of shaping and sustaining the technical backbone of the organization. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of engineering systems, from initial conception and design through development, rigorous testing, production, deployment, and ongoing operation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable solutions, ensuring that every system meets performance, reliability, and user experience standards. Your role will also involve diagnosing and resolving technical issues, implementing enhancements, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to support seamless system management.

What you'll do:

  • Analyze system requirements and assists with design and development activities
  • Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations
  • Assist with developing system architecture and system design documentation
  • Assist with system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
  • Interact with the customer regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
  • Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives

What you'll need:

  • Relevant experience in engineering systems over their lifecycle (for example: conception, design & development, testing, production, distribution/deployment, operation, maintenance & support, decommissioning)
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline

Security Clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
