Junior Project Architect – Salt Lake City, Utah

Design the way people live. Grow the way you’ve always imagined.

Our Salt Lake City studio is seeking a Junior Project Architect with a passion for thoughtful, sustainable multifamily architecture. This role is perfect for someone ready to expand their technical skills, deepen their design voice, and contribute to projects that shape thriving urban communities.

As a Junior Project Architect, you’ll be part of a collaborative, design-driven team where creativity, rigor, and mentorship come together to build work that matters—both for our clients and for the people who call these places home.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

As a Junior Project Architect, you’ll be supported by people who care about your craft, your career, and your wellbeing. We believe great design starts with a great work environment.

Here’s what we offer:

  • Career Growth: Hands-on mentorship from award-winning architects and a clear path toward licensure.
  • Work–Life Balance: Flexible schedules, hybrid work options, and a culture that values your life outside the studio.
  • Health & Wellness: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid holidays, and generous PTO.
  • Professional Development: Paid AXP hours, reimbursement for ARE testing, and opportunities for continuing education.
  • Design Impact: Work on multifamily and mixed-use projects that enhance urban communities across the country while being based in beautiful Salt Lake City.
  • Creative Culture: Open dialogue, design charrettes, studio-wide collaboration, and a sense of belonging that extends beyond project deadlines.

What You’ll Do

As a Junior Project Architect, you’ll contribute to projects through every phase of design and construction:

  • Collaborate on concept design, documentation, and detailing for multifamily and mixed-use projects.
  • Use Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to develop visual presentations and technical drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Participate in client meetings, site visits, and construction administration activities.
  • Research materials, systems, and innovative design strategies for sustainable, livable communities.

What You Bring

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 4–7 years of architectural experience, preferably in multifamily or residential projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and design visualization tools.
  • Solid understanding of building codes and construction documentation.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Enthusiasm for design excellence and dedication to growth.
  • Actively pursuing or planning to pursue architectural licensure.
