This position is ideal for someone with a background in architecture, architectural engineering, interior design, or commercial construction who is ready to take the next step into project management. You'll work alongside senior project managers, architects, engineers, and clients while gradually taking ownership of smaller projects and developing into a fully independent Project Manager.

Responsibilities

Coordinate project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables across internal teams.

Serve as a point of communication between clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and production staff.

Track project progress to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.

Review construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and quality.

Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP engineering disciplines.

Assist with project planning, permitting, and consultant coordination.

Monitor project budgets, scope changes, and documentation throughout each phase.

Support client meetings, project updates, and internal coordination meetings.

Help identify and resolve project issues while maintaining schedules and quality standards.

Maintain project documentation and organize files throughout the project lifecycle.

Develop relationships with clients while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

3–5 years of experience in architecture, commercial design, construction, or project coordination.

Experience with commercial tenant improvement or commercial construction projects preferred.

Working knowledge of construction documents and project coordination.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

Commercial architecture or tenant improvement projects.

Coordination between architectural and MEP disciplines.

Client-facing project experience.

Knowledge of building codes and commercial construction processes.

Experience working with national retail, restaurant, fitness, or commercial brands is a plus.

Career Growth

PSA Architects is committed to developing future project leaders. This role provides direct mentorship from senior leadership and offers a clear path toward Project Manager responsibilities, including independent project ownership, client management, and increased leadership opportunities as experience grows.
