Job description

Description
This is a law clerk to associate attorney position, with pay to modify and change once bar passage is received. We are anticipating hiring a candidate who is presently studying for the July 2026 bar exam and targeting a start date in August. This position will begin as a law clerk position and then transition to an associate attorney role once bar passage is received.
Candidates must have a strong desire to practice family law, work with private clients, appear in court, and help real people. Our ideal candidate has a desire to grow in their knowledge and practice as an attorney, and understands that their learning as an attorney does not end with bar passage - it merely begins there.
Our ideal candidate has actual law firm experience. Without actual law firm experience, law school participation in legal clinics, or having taken and excelled in a matrimonial practice class, is a must.
Every lawyer in our office is provided with the following tools to help them succeed:
  • A Laptop to be able to work from anywhere you wish
  • An assistant and a paralegal, so that you do not have to do your own mailings or answer your own phone
  • Flexibility so that you can live your life and be an attorney
  • A communications policy that DOES NOT allow for clients to contact you and expect answers 24/7
  • VOIP phones
  • Health, Dental & Vision Insurance for the employee is paid at 100% cost

Qualifications
You must have also passed your MPRE, or have a scheduled date/time to take the same.
