Job Description:
At Regions, the Specialized Industries Associate is directly involved in the design, origination, structuring, and execution of financial advisory assignments, loan syndications, and capital markets products and services for existing and prospective clients. This role is within the specialized industries bank client coverage/origination for Regions Bank and Regions Securities LLC. This role also assists in the cultivation of client relationships by conducting research, staying abreast of client and industry trends, and participating in industry and client related strategic and tactical planning.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Supports senior bankers in relationship responsibilities, including idea generation and interaction with current and prospective clients
  • Understands client needs and identifies Regions' products and services, or other actionable ideas, to help clients achieve goals
  • Develops and maintains detailed financial models to value companies and depict projected financial results
  • Ensures a high quality of client deliverables
  • Leads the preparation of written materials, including pitches, proposals, client materials, and associated supporting analyses
  • Conducts extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
  • Participates in the recruitment, development, training, and oversight of junior associates

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with proven record of high achievement
  • Three (3) years of relevant work experience
  • Prior completion of a credit training program

Preferences
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Knowledge of capital markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), or leveraged finance

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
