OVERVIEW

The Junior Account Manager (JAM) is responsible for supporting the Key Account Manager in growing and managing the business with Key Customer. The JAM assists in driving sales, improving store-level execution, and promoting product knowledge across locations. They help implement sales initiatives, merchandising programs, and in-store engagement strategies while maintaining alignment between the company and Key Customer.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Support store visits to Key Customer locations to assist with training on product features, installation, and selling techniques.
  • Reinforce product knowledge with store associates to help improve customer experience and sell-through.
  • Assist at Key Customer Pro Events to promote the brand and support engagement with professional customers.
  • Build and maintain working relationships with store teams and support communication with Customer contacts.
  • Help execute merchandising programs, promotions, and assortment initiatives in stores.
  • Support communication of pricing, product positioning, and company priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, visits, and feedback using internal systems (Teams).
  • Provide basic market feedback on competition, product performance, and store insights.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support product launches and merchandising updates.
  • Participate in trade shows and events as needed.
  • Follow company guidelines for travel planning and expense reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably two (2) years of sales experience.
  • Proven ability to work with complex retail customers or multi-location accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills.
  • Microsoft Teams proficiency and strong overall computer literacy.
