  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate lending, including loan documentation, title and survey matters, lien priority, UCC filings, and the parties involved in complex lending transactions. Experience with multi-state transactions, portfolio transactions, and leasehold mortgages is preferred.
  • Significant experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial real estate contracts and legal documents with a high degree of independence.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal business partners and external stakeholders-including mortgage correspondents, borrowers, escrow agents, title companies, outside counsel, and third-party servicers-and communicate complex legal concepts to drive timely, successful transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously while working with limited attorney supervision.
