Position: Graphic Designer I (Junior Graphic Designer)

Duration: 10 Months.


Position Summary

We are seeking aย highly motivated Junior Graphic Designerย to join our collaborative creative team. This role supports the development ofย award-winning, brand-driven visual solutionsย across digital and print platforms while helping Georgia Power connect with customers in meaningful and authentic ways.

The ideal candidate is creatively curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning projects from concept to execution while collaborating closely with senior creatives and project managers.


What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Collaborate withย Project Managers, Design Team Leads, Senior Designers, and strategistsย to translate concepts into compelling visual executions
  • Design a wide range ofย digital and print assets, including:
    • Advertising
    • Web and email assets
    • Banner ads
    • Signage
    • Presentations
    • Environmental graphics
    • Other branded digital and print materials
  • Present work to creative leadership and stakeholders andย incorporate feedbackย into final deliverables
  • Serve as aย brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and integrity across all channels
  • Deliver projects that areย accurate, timely, and aligned with Georgia Powerโ€™s brand voice
  • Share creative insights and contribute positively to team culture
  • Learn theย energy and utilities businessย and apply that knowledge to design solutions
  • Stay current withย industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies

You Bring

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree inย Graphic Designย from an accredited institution
  • 3โ€“5 years of graphic design experienceย in:
    • Advertising agency
    • Marketing / PR firm
    • In-house creative agency
  • Strongย portfolioย demonstrating high-quality creative work
  • Expert proficiency inย Adobe Creative Suite
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Graphic and web design principles
    • Current web technologies (HTML, CSS)
    • Social media platforms
  • Digital illustration and animation experienceย (highly preferred)
  • Ability to prioritize and manageย multiple projects with tight deadlines
