Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior GIS Analyst who’s ready to jump into real project work and grow within a multidisciplinary engineering environment. If you enjoy solving spatial problems, building clean datasets, and supporting engineers with maps and analysis that actually get used, this role is for you. This position will be in-office in our Rochester, NY office.

What You’ll Do

• Support civil engineering teams with GIS mapping, data management, and spatial analysis

• Create high-quality maps, figures, and exhibits for reports, proposals, and field teams

• Maintain and update geodatabases, feature classes, and metadata

• Perform spatial queries, geoprocessing tasks, and basic modeling

• Assist with field data collection and integration (GPS, mobile apps, survey data)

• Help standardize workflows, templates, and data QA/QC processes

• Collaborate with project managers to understand requirements and deliver accurate GIS products on schedule
