At EIP, we’re a growing manufacturing company in Oberlin, OH, and we’re looking for a Junior Estimator to join our estimating team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn manufacturing from the inside out and build a long-term path in estimating, engineering support, or operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role is all about learning how quotes come to life. You’ll help the estimating team turn drawings and customer requests into accurate, real-world manufacturing costs.

You will:
  • Assist with preparing cost estimates for new and repeat manufacturing jobs
  • Learn how to read blueprints, drawings, and customer specifications
  • Support calculations for materials, labor, and machine time
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, purchasing, and production teams
  • Keep quote records organized and accurate
  • Learn EIP’s manufacturing processes and how our shop operates
  • Support the estimating team with a mix of technical and administrative tasks
  • Jump in where needed—every day can look a little different
