Job description

Job Description:Reporting to the VP - Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer, the Compliance Program Manager supports the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the Compliance Program for John Muir Health, John Muir Physician Network, John Muir Behavioral Health, and John Muir Health Foundation (collectively, “JMH”). The Compliance Program Manager is a key contributor to the Compliance Department’s goals and objectives and helps ensure the effective day-to-day operation of the Compliance Program.

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in business, healthcare administration, health information management, public health, or a related field required. Relevant experience in a related healthcare or compliance may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Experience:

  • 3–5 years of healthcare compliance experience required, preferably in a hospital, health system, or other provider setting. This includes direct experience supporting a healthcare compliance program required, including experience with compliance operations, policy implementation, auditing and monitoring, investigations, regulatory education, corrective action follow-up, or related program activities

Certification/Licensures:

  • CHC – Certified Healthcare Compliance  - Required or ability to obtain certification within twelve (12) months of acceptance of assignment

Skills:

  • Superior interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Superior oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational, documentation and tracking skills.

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple and often competing projects and/or demands, while adhering to strict timelines.

  • Ability to motivate, develop and direct people to accomplish objectives.

  • Ability to act with confidence, build trust and credibility and collaborative relationships.

  • Ability to escalate issues appropriately and work within defined authority.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot or similar tools.

This position is 100% onsite in Walnut Creek, CA

Work Shift:Exempt Salaried (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$118,159.00 - $177,238.00Salary
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
