Job Summary:
The Data Analyst will support the Provider Relations Team by delivering actionable insights through data analysis, dashboard development, and the implementation of data tools. This role plays a critical part in enhancing provider network performance, optimizing claims-related processes, and contributing to financial forecasting that aligns with organizational strategy.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Data Analytics & Data Implementation:
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to monitor provider performance, claims activity, and network efficiency using tools like Power BI, Tableau.
  • Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of claims data tools, ensuring usability and alignment with business needs.
  • Analyze datasets related to provider referral alignment, claims, reimbursements, and utilization to uncover trends and support strategic decisions.
  • Assist in ad hoc analysis requests related to provider impact, geographic access, cost trends, and performance incentives.

Financial Projections and Analysis:
  • Generate and interpret financial projections and models that support growth strategies and initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Provider Relations team to identify KPIs and data needs to evaluate provider alignment and market share opportunities
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders via visualizations, presentations, and reports.

Team Training:
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions by delivering data-driven recommendations and scenario analyses.
  • Provide ongoing training to provider relations teams to navigate data tools and dashboards as well as understand and support reporting

Additional Duties as Assigned Travel:
  • Less than 10% of the time may be required.

Work Type:
  • Hybrid employee - splits time between working remotely and working in the office.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business, or data analytics

Experience
  • 5 years minimum experience in related field

Knowledge, skills, and abilities (required):
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
