JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collects, interpretsand integrates relevant data from multiple sources such as maps, databasetables, graphs, satellite and aerial images and geologic conditions.
  • Appliesrelational database management systems to perform spatial analysis andgenerates reports based on the analysis. (25%)
  • Preparesaccurate GIS cartographic products to support utility operations withinitiative and creativity. Maintains a log to track all party requests,deadlines and project status. (25%)
  • Works withinternal and external customers to understand and assist them inaddressing business, operational and public service needs; and producesthe necessary exhibits in a timely fashion while managing multipleprojects. (25%)
  • Serves asliaison in meetings with other entities, businesses, community groups, andindustry associations. (5%)
    Responds to data requests and works independently to complete them per thespecific needs of the internal customers. (20%)
  • Ensures allcompliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands andcomplies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to positionand company. Performs related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENT
  • Bachelor'sdegree from an accredited school and 3-5 years of related experience.
  • If no bachelor'sdegree must have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience.
  • Demonstratedexperience in ArcGIS Pro and AcrGIS Online
  • ArcGIS OnlineApplications including Field Maps, Dashboards, and Experience Builder
  • Demonstratedexperience with data conversions involving KMZ files and Excelspreadsheets
  • Demonstratedknowledge of: Arc GIS and Arc On-line
  • GIS principles,practices and techniques of automated drafting and mapping
  • GIS concepts andanalytical techniques
  • Computerizedmapping and attribute-data conversion
  • Relationaldatabase design
  • Micro andmini-computers
  • Globalpositioning survey concepts
  • Experience withanalytical tools and computer system operations.
