Key Responsibilities of the Business Analyst
  • Partner with department leaders to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans
  • Analyze financial performance, historical trends, and key performance indicators to support business decisions
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analyses for leadership
  • Develop and maintain budgeting models, forecasting tools, and financial reporting templates
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to leadership teams
  • Support marketing and operational departments with financial analysis, invoice processing, and budget tracking
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, reporting efficiency, and financial workflows
  • Assist with project planning, system implementations, testing, and business process improvements
  • Participate in special projects and provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed

Qualifications for the Business Analyst
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required
  • 2โ€“3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, FP&A, or business analysis
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Adaptive Planning required
  • Experience with Power BI, Domo, or other business intelligence tools is a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, reporting tools, and relational databases
  • Experience preparing executive-level reporting and financial presentations preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
