We're searching for a Supply Chain Program Manager to join Aurora's Global Purchasing & Supply Chain (GPSC) team. Your core responsibility is to drive supply chain readiness through every development stage of our next generation hardware products.
In this role, you will
- Lead supply chain readiness through the planning and execution of purchasing, supply chain and supplier quality strategies for the assigned programs. Own supply chain timeline development and execution considering top-down program constraints and bottoms-up dependencies with key milestones.
- Drive supply chain resilience by conducting detailed supply chain mapping from prototype to production. Analyze the complete supply chain by defining and measuring performance criteria to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop metrics and build dashboards to report supply chain readiness and resilience for the assigned programs. Establish appropriate cadence to run programmatic meetings with appropriate level of details for the respective audience. Prepare and present succinct, crisp executive summaries to leadership.
- Represent GPSC in program meetings, providing status updates, highlighting risks, and outlining proposed solutions and mitigating steps. Proactively drive discussions with cross-functional partners to address obstacles.
- Drive continuous improvement activities in data integrity and system automation with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality, efficiency and scalability of tools and processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience supply chain roles managing hardware development programs breaking down complex projects into manageable milestones, with the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and risks.
- 5+ years of experience managing supply chain setup for hardware development from prototype to high volume manufacturing with products in mass production in large and/or fast growing companies.
- Strong ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively to various audiences at all levels; proven ability to communicate complex concepts in a succinct manner to senior executive audiences.
- Proficiency with task management tools equivalent to Jira, and schedule management tools equivalent to Smartsheet/MS Project.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to transform data into insight using Googlesheets/Excel.
Desirable Qualifications
- Master's degree in supply chain management, business management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in hardware industry (aerospace/defense, automotive, AV, medical devices, etc) with a focus on safety-critical components and high-volume manufacturing.
- Impeccable attention to detail and organization, ability to influence, motivate, and generate goodwill with teammates while juggling multiple projects at once.
- Ability to pivot seamlessly between granular details and big picture strategic topics, identifying connections between the two
The base salary range for this position is $147,000 - $236,000 per year. Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
