JOB SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, the position supports a variety of Supply Chain activities both for internal and external metrics reflecting M&P performances. The activities will include but not limited to bidding and implementing changes, analyzing impact of change to the supply chain, engineering, and industrialization, and represent M&P in change boards & development plateaus.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Assist M&P in change board meetings.

Monitor reports and metrics on inventory and cost.

Perform, analyze, and publish root cause analysis.

Perform computer searches to locate potential suppliers.

Work with M&P to help send out forecast to suppliers.

Work closely with staff and supervision.

Perform other special assignments as directed by supervision.

NON- PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

None

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Junior status of accredited college or university. Full time status

Committed to Business related major with emphasis on Business Administration, Purchasing, or Supply Chain

Minimum GPA of 2.80

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Knowledge of Purchasing functions

Knowledge of Software applications

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in Supply Chain or Purchasing activities.

Willing to learn and dependable.

Strong organizational skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work week to average 25-30 hours.

Must have the ability to work at computer terminal/screen for long periods of time.

Must have basic mobile skills to walk between buildings.

Some moderate lifting may be required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The compensation for this position is $21.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime.
