Position Overview

Seeking an experienced JD Edwards Business Analyst with strong Warehouse Management System (WMS) expertise to support and enhance enterprise manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain operations.

This position will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, IT teams, offshore development teams, and third-party vendors. The Business Analyst will deliver scalable solutions across JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, WMS platforms, RF-enabled warehouse solutions, EDI, and related enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge of JD Edwards Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules, hands-on experience with warehouse operations, strong analytical capabilities, and experience supporting manufacturing and distribution environments.

Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering

  • Partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehousing, and Distribution to understand operational challenges and business requirements.
  • Analyze current-state business processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements.
  • Gather, document, validate, and manage business and functional requirements.
  • Prepare:
    • Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)
    • Functional Design Documents (FDDs)
    • Business process flows
    • Use cases
    • Epics
    • User stories
    • Acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, process reviews, and stakeholder workshops.

JD Edwards and WMS Functional Support

  • Provide functional expertise across JD Edwards EnterpriseOne modules, including:
    • Inventory Management
    • Procurement
    • Sales Order Management
    • Manufacturing
    • Warehouse Management
    • Transportation and Logistics
  • Serve as the functional SME for WMS integrations and RF-enabled warehouse operations.
  • Support warehouse processes, including:
    • Receiving
    • Put-away
    • Picking
    • Packing
    • Shipping
    • Replenishment
    • Cycle counting
    • Barcode scanning
    • Inventory movements
    • Inventory control
  • Support and enhance integrations between JD Edwards, WMS platforms, RFSmart or other RF solutions, EDI systems, and third-party logistics applications.
  • Work closely with business users and technical teams to troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Delivery and Project Execution

  • Collaborate with development, QA, offshore, infrastructure, and business teams throughout the design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile delivery activities, including:
    • Backlog refinement
    • Sprint planning
    • Requirements clarification
    • SIT coordination
    • UAT coordination
    • Release validation
  • Develop and validate test scenarios, test cases, and business acceptance criteria.
  • Support data validation, system testing, user acceptance testing, and defect resolution.
  • Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives, functional requirements, and operational needs.

Stakeholder Management and Governance

  • Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, process reviews, and project status meetings with business and IT leadership.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams, offshore delivery teams, and third-party vendors.
  • Support change management, training, documentation, and end-user adoption activities.
  • Maintain strong client-facing relationships and ensure stakeholder expectations are effectively managed.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments.
  • Strong functional expertise in JD Edwards Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules.
  • Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems and RF-enabled warehouse operations.
  • Strong experience supporting warehouse processes such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, cycle counting, and inventory control.
  • Strong understanding of integrations between JD Edwards and WMS platforms.
  • Experience working with EDI transactions and integrations.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and distribution environments.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and preparing BRDs, FDDs, process flows, epics, and user stories.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, Jira, and enterprise project delivery frameworks.
  • Experience coordinating SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and release validation.
  • Experience working with offshore delivery teams and cross-functional business groups.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Client-facing consulting experience.
  • Experience with RFSmart or other RF/mobile warehouse solutions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms and middleware technologies.
  • Exposure to Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Experience with warehouse automation solutions.
  • Experience supporting large-scale ERP transformation, modernization, or implementation initiatives.
