To thrive as an Orchestrator, you need strong project management abilities, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of workflow automation, typically backed by relevant experience or education. Familiarity with orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, workflow automation tools, and sometimes certifications in cloud technologies are common requirements. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills help coordinate cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion. These skills ensure seamless integration of systems and processes, leading to improved efficiency and successful project outcomes.

How does an Orchestrator typically collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless workflow management?

As an Orchestrator, you'll regularly work with diverse teams such as development, operations, and quality assurance to coordinate processes and automate workflows. This role requires clear communication to align team objectives, gather requirements, and troubleshoot any process bottlenecks. You'll often use workflow management tools and participate in meetings to ensure that tasks progress smoothly and meet project deadlines. Building strong relationships and maintaining transparency are key to facilitating efficient collaboration and resolving conflicts.

What is an Orchestrator in the context of IT and business operations?

An Orchestrator is a tool, platform, or individual responsible for automating, coordinating, and managing complex workflows and processes across multiple systems or teams. In IT, orchestrators are often used to streamline tasks like software deployment, resource allocation, and data integration, ensuring that different components work together efficiently. The role can involve leveraging automation software or platforms to minimize manual intervention and reduce errors, leading to improved productivity and consistency in operations.

Bolt Farm Treehouse

Job description

The Mission
Turn messy on-site reality into calm, clean, scalable systems that the Sr. Director and frontline teams can actually run on.
  • Eliminate waste and chaos.
  • Convert floor truth into BoltOS standards.
  • Free the Sr. Director to lead instead of firefight.
Why This Isn't a Normal Ops Role
Bolt Farm Treehouse isn't a generic boutique hotel. It's a mountaintop lab rebuilding hospitality from first principles-so couples don't just vacation, they remember why they chose each other. We're building America's most iconic romantic luxury retreat brand - nature-immersed, emotionally transformative experiences with 3,300+ five-star reviews, features in Forbes, Travel + Leisure, and Netflix.
We're scaling from a $32M flagship to a $200M+ national portfolio.
We are the Department of Growth Efficiency (DOGE): anti-bloat, anti-corporate theater, pro-beautiful systems that actually work.
We need an Operations Orchestrator who treats friction as the enemy and sees a perfect SOP as a work of art.
What You'll Do
Lead through the team
  • Walk the villas with housekeeping, ride with maintenance, sit in on spa and DreamWeaver setups, and jump into front-of-house.
  • Build real trust so people tell you what's actually happening.
  • Coach supervisors on consistency and standards-without micromanaging their teams.

Translate floor reality into bulletproof processes
  • Turn observations into dead-simple SOPs, photo standards, checklists, and templates that new hires can follow on day one.
  • Standardize the moments that matter: arrivals, turnovers, staging, spa, DreamWeaver experiences, and maintenance cycles.
  • Convert one-off fixes into reusable playbooks so the same problem never needs a second meeting.

Run the operating rhythm
  • Own daily huddles and weekly cadences that keep housekeeping, maintenance, spa, DreamWeavers, and front-of-house in sync.
  • Tighten every handoff so requests and issues flow cleanly without chasing.

Build & stress-test the systems
  • Treat PMS, BoltOS, task tools, comms, and finance as one integrated ecosystem-find the gaps and close them.
  • Partner with tech to embed your processes directly into our custom OS and AI tools.
  • Identify automation that removes repetitive work and returns time to guests.

Protect the guest experience
Every decision is filtered through one question: "Does this make it easier for couples to reconnect?"
Catch friction before guests feel it. When something breaks, respond calmly, fix the root cause, and update the system.
You are the Sr. Director's execution partner. You don't own the whole property-you make it run 2-3ร— smoother.
How We'll Measure You
Target Metrics:
Director Leverage (Primary)
30%+ reduction in avoidable escalations and recurring operational interruptions within 90 days
Systemization Velocity
3-5 actively used SOPs, checklists, or workflows embedded into BoltOS/BoltGPT per month
Guest Friction Kill Rate
% of recurring guest friction points resolved with a root-cause fix, SOP update, and OS change within 72 hours.
Operational Flow Health
90% of recurring work executed via SOP/OS instead of heroics
Repeat Failure Rate
<10% of issues re-occurring after being "fixed"
Who You Are
  • Hospitality heart + builder brain: you love guests but geek out over clean systems.
  • Systems thinker: you see workflows as connected ecosystems and reject band-aid fixes.
  • First-principles operator: you break things down, simplify, and explain clearly.
  • AI-curious and tool-agile: you use modern software and AI to make work lighter (no coding required).
  • Calm, credible, and trustworthy: people tell you the truth and you follow through.
What You Bring
  • First principles thinking. Elon's 5-step process and a bias toward simplification, deletion, and speed.
  • You have a low tolerance for inefficiency, rework, and unnecessary complexity.
  • AI-first thinking. You're obsessed & experienced with harnessing the power of AI.
  • Several years improving operations in boutique/luxury hospitality, vacation rentals, resorts, restaurants, or similar high-touch environments.
  • Proven ability to turn chaos into SOPs, training, and standards that others run successfully without you.
  • Experience coaching cross-functional teams and raising standards without burnout.
  • Strong written communication-your SOPs, recaps, and updates are simple, visual, and actually used.

Bonus points for: opening/scaling a property, EOS or Lean experience, or deep work with vibe coding, custom software, PMS, hospitality CRM, or ops platforms.
Why Join Us
We started with one handmade honeymoon treehouse. We're now a growing 33-villa mountaintop sanctuary helping thousands of couples reconnect while the world burns out below.
Your seat: Make the magic scalable.
Location: On-site, Whitwell, TN (mountaintop life beats cubicle life).
Compensation
OTE: $122,600 - $132,600
  • Base: $90,000
  • Performance Bonus: $13,000 annually (paid bi-weekly, KPI-tied)
  • Sign-On: $6,000 (paid quarterly in Year 1)
  • Health Stipend: $3,600/year
  • Profit Pool: Year 1 estimate $10k-$20k+ (scales with us)
  • Free stays + million-dollar views + high-performance team.
Final Filter
If you like corporate theater, slow change, or "that's how we've always done it," this role will chew you up.
If you're a systems-obsessed builder who wants to conduct the orchestra from the forest floor...
Apply. Let's make hospitality both magical and mechanically beautiful.
