JOB DESCRIPTION
Fox Corporation produces and distributes content through some of the world's leading and most valued brands, including FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations, and Tubi Media Group. We empower a diverse range of creators to imagine and develop culturally significant content while building an organization that thrives on creative ideas, operational expertise, engineering excellence, and strategic thinking.
ABOUT THE ROLE
FOX is already on a journey to modernize how work gets done through meaningful investment in AI-native orchestration, automation, and service delivery platforms. The Director, Enterprise Orchestration Engineering will help scale that foundation into secure, production-grade capabilities across FOX Corporation's brands, business units, and enterprise technology ecosystem.
This is a hands-on engineering leadership role for someone who can connect strategy with execution. The right leader will evaluate and extend existing platforms, design secure integration patterns, lead engineers, shape architecture, contribute code, and create custom capabilities when out-of-the-box configuration is not enough.
This role will support orchestration across FOX News Media, FOX Sports, FOX Entertainment, FOX Television Stations, Tubi Media Group, and corporate functions. The work will connect systems, data, approvals, AI-enabled agents, support experiences, and human-in-the-loop workflows across a complex, multi-brand enterprise environment.
The ideal candidate is a platform-minded engineering leader who has built or led internal tools, workflow automation, enterprise integrations, AI-enabled automation, or orchestration platforms. They should be comfortable working across tools such as Serval, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, Workday, Jira, and other enterprise systems while knowing when custom engineering is required.
This role requires strong technical judgment, security awareness, stakeholder management, and delivery discipline. The right leader will help FOX move faster while protecting data, access, compliance, reliability, and enterprise trust.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Scale FOX's existing orchestration investments into secure, production-grade workflows across brands, business units, and corporate functions.
  • Lead hands-on engineering efforts to design, build, integrate, and optimize orchestration capabilities across enterprise systems, internal platforms, and brand-specific workflows.
  • Evaluate, configure, extend, and integrate platforms such as Serval, ServiceNow, Slack, Okta, Workday, Jira, and other enterprise tools used across FOX.
  • Partner with FOX brands, corporate teams, IT, Security, HR, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to prioritize high-value orchestration opportunities.
  • Identify where existing platforms can be leveraged and where custom engineering is required to support FOX-specific workflows, controls, integrations, reporting needs, and operating models.
  • Design workflow frameworks that connect systems, teams, APIs, data, approvals, and business rules into unified, intelligent processes.
  • Build AI-enabled workflows, including conversational interfaces, intelligent routing, decision support, access request automation, onboarding/offboarding workflows, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
  • Establish architecture patterns, integration standards, reusable components, documentation, and guardrails that scale across a complex enterprise.
  • Lead development of internal tools and orchestration capabilities that enable teams to automate repeatable work while maintaining appropriate oversight and security controls.
  • Ensure solutions are designed with role-based access, least privilege, audit logging, data protection, exception handling, monitoring, and compliance in mind.
  • Build and lead a team of engineers, architects, and platform specialists focused on enterprise orchestration, automation, and AI-enabled service delivery.
  • Stay technically engaged through architecture reviews, solution design, code reviews, prototyping, debugging, and hands-on problem solving.
  • Define success metrics and continuously optimize workflows for speed, adoption, reliability, cost efficiency, user experience, and measurable enterprise value.
  • Drive adoption through clear communication, enablement, documentation, stakeholder partnership, and practical change management.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Significant experience leading engineering teams focused on enterprise automation, workflow orchestration, internal platforms, integration platforms, AI-enabled automation, IT automation, or developer productivity tooling.
  • Hands-on technical depth with the ability to review architecture, evaluate code quality, guide technical tradeoffs, and partner effectively with senior engineers.
  • Experience building, integrating, or extending API-driven systems, internal tools, workflow engines, event-driven systems, or enterprise automation platforms.
  • Experience working with AI-native service delivery, enterprise orchestration, ITSM, access automation, help desk automation, or agent-assisted workflow platforms.
  • Practical experience with AI-enabled workflows, including conversational interfaces, intelligent routing, decision support, AI agents, or human-in-the-loop automation patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Serval, ServiceNow, Okta, Slack, Workday, Jira, Atlassian, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages and infrastructure commonly used in enterprise automation; examples include Python, JavaScript, Go, cloud services, and serverless platforms.
  • Strong understanding of modern engineering practices, including APIs, integrations, cloud services, identity and access management, observability, reliability, and secure software delivery.
  • Strong security and governance judgment, including experience with role-based access control, least privilege, audit logging, data handling, approval flows, vendor risk, and compliance-sensitive workflows.
  • Experience delivering enterprise technology, automation, internal platform, or workflow solutions across multiple business units, brands, regions, or operating models.
  • Ability to balance enterprise-wide standards with business-unit-specific needs in complex organizations with distinct stakeholders, workflows, priorities, and risk profiles.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across product, engineering, operations, security, HR, legal, finance, and business leadership.
  • Ability to move between strategy and execution, from setting orchestration roadmaps to solving technical, operational, and adoption blockers.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business value.

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
  • Familiarity with Serval, Sola, N8N, Zapier, Make, ServiceNow, MoveWorks, Workato, UiPath, or similar orchestration and automation platforms.
  • Background in media, entertainment, streaming, technology, or other complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting CIO, CISO, enterprise technology, or platform engineering organizations through large-scale technology adoption.
  • Experience with AI-native ITSM, help desk automation, access request automation, employee service workflows, onboarding/offboarding workflows, or internal support platforms.
  • Experience building internal platforms that enable self-service workflow creation with appropriate engineering standards and security guardrails.
  • Experience optimizing automation for cost efficiency, operational scalability, reliability, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience leading engineering teams in hybrid, matrixed, or multi-brand enterprise environments.
