- Open, inspect, and process customer return packages accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate returned products for condition, completeness, and eligibility for resale.
- Identify signs of fraud, abuse, misuse, or damaged merchandise and document findings appropriately.
- Restock returned items that are new and sellable back into inventory.
- Process defective, damaged, or unsellable products for return to suppliers or other disposition channels.
- Create and update listings for used, open-box, or refurbished products when appropriate.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding product defects, warranty claims, and return authorizations.
- Accurately document return outcomes and maintain records within company systems.
- Use Excel, Gmail, and other computer applications to manage return-related tasks and communications.
- Assist with inventory adjustments and reconciliation related to returned merchandise.
