Job description

Razor is looking for aJava/C++ Developerfocused on developing mission-critical applications supporting Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Missile Defense initiatives. The role emphasizes software development, containerized environments, systems integration, product testing, and deployment while supporting advanced capabilities in data integration, analytics, visualization, and decision support for national defense missions. Education & Certification Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience. Additional related experience, training, and/or certifications may be substituted for degree requirements. Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret clearance required. U.S. Citizenship required. Location: Colorado Springs, CO Responsibilities: • Design and implement containerized environments supporting Java and C++ applications • Develop mission-critical software supporting missile defense and warning systems • Communicate and document technical solutions for integrated engineering teams in a fast-paced environment • Conduct software design reviews and code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and performance • Collaborate with Systems Engineering teams to synchronize development efforts and demonstrate capabilities to customers • Support software integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activities • Manage regression coding efforts and coordinate deployment activities with stakeholders and third-party contractors • Develop and implement solutions supporting data integration, data fusion, analytics, visualization, and decision support capabilities • Stay current on emerging software development technologies, tools, and best practices • Support product testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities • Support development of solutions focused on data integration and fusion, analytics, data mining, predictive analytics, visualization, and decision support capabilities Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience • Active DoD Secret clearance • U.S. Citizenship required • Expertise in Java and C++ software development • Experience developing microservices-based applications • Experience working with containerized environments and modern software deployment practices • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and software engineering principles • Experience working in Agile software development environments • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within integrated engineering teams • Strong written and verbal communication skills Desired Skills: • Master's degree in a related technical discipline • Experience with FORTRAN • Experience supporting missile warning or missile defense programs • Understanding of missile warning message types and associated mission systems • Experience supporting Department of Defense or national security programs • Experience managing multiple priorities in a dynamic engineering environment Employer Information: Razor is an EEO Employer.
