Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Senior Systems Analyst for our client in the Financial Services domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract with possible extension

Location: Merrimack, NH (Hybrid)

Salary: $55.00-$60.00/Hourly

Role: Senior Systems Analyst

Primary Skills: Systems Analysis and Software Solutions

Role Description: The Senior Systems Analyst must have 5+ years of experience.

Expertise You Have:

- 5+ years of professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions

- Experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to sophisticated software systems

- Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general

- Strong understanding and experience with relational database schemas and SQL management tools

- Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, JSON, and APIs

- Deep knowledge of scrum tools – Jira experience desirable

- Good knowledge of Behavior Driven Development – Gherkin/Cucumber

- Reverse engineer code to understand business logic and develop prototypes–Excel Macros/Java/Angular

- Have good understanding of solution architecture

- Experience building Open API contracts

- Prod incidents analysis including Splunk queries, build dashboards/alerts

Skills Needed:

- Preferred knowledge of Angular TS/Java Spring boot

- Strong SQL is a must

- Strong ability to create data flow diagram from scratch

- Strong ability to interpret and even reverse engineer the existing business logic

- Strong understanding of APIs, contracts, and documentation

- Ability to interpret architect’s design

- Needs to have high level of understanding of AWS architecture - needs to be able to explain core services

- Log and monitoring for failure analysis and prod issue troubleshooting

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
