Client is experiencing significant growth in its Sales Effectiveness Programs. These programs are designed to incent and motivate both direct sales personnel and channel partners for Fortune 500 and other Global companies across a broad array of industries. The Channel/Sales Incentive Solutions team within client is looking for technology solution professionals to support this growth.

The programs are supported with a new, flexible technology foundation, using modern development tools and techniques. These techniques employ user-centered design; agile development methodologies; modern, mobile-responsive, front-end development tools, industry leading integration and rules engines, and re-usable API services, on an evolving uniform data model that supports the motivation business.

Currently, our constantly evolving development environment consists of the following:

Front-end: Polymer, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Node, Angular

Back-end: Java Linux/UNIX; Tomcat/Apache/JBoss; SOA and MVC architectures; JSON; J2EE technologies; Java frameworks: Spring, Struts, Hibernate, Apache (Axis, Xerces, etc.), or JDOM; Java application servers (e.g., JBoss, Apache, WebLogic, or WebSphere)

Lead Developer/Engineer

This position is part of a dynamic software development team working on very visible projects with a team of well-educated and extremely professional technologists. This person will work closely with business stakeholders, Java architects, and other teams across client.

MUST Have:

Strong experience with Java, Spring / Rest and SQL Server. *Note - our Lead Developers do much of the SQL work. We do have SQL Developers and DBAs but they are in a different group, so the App Dev leads need strong SQL Server knowledge and skills.

High Preferred to Have: Git, SVN, Maven and Jenkins or similar

Demonstrated ability with one (or more) major Javascript frameworks

Familiarity with web components and relevant design patterns

Familiarity with Google's Material Design

Familiarity with different application build and dependency management systems (Polymer CLI, Grunt/Gulp, Bower, Yarn, NPM)

Familiarity with different software testing practices (unit tests, functional tests, automated browser testing, regression testing)

Jira/Atlassian product family, or like products for managing user features and stories, scope management, project management

Experience using versioning software/repositories, preferably Git

Skill Set

This developer needs to have lead experience and be able to work with a full pod of resources including a Sr. IT Manager, developers, testers, etc.

Agile methodology is used in project implementation, this developer would need to have agile methodology knowledge.


Qualifications

7+ years of increasing responsibilities supporting technology related projects

BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline with an information technology focus or equivalent experience

5+ years of demonstrable experience in participating on complex technology projects and teams
