• Conduct thorough and culturally informed mental health assessments that explore each patient’s unique history and personal circumstances.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring an individualized approach that respects cultural identities.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to address a variety of mental health concerns while promoting resilience and coping strategies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive mental health services.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients in urgent need of support, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, empowering them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency trainings to enhance personal skills and team effectiveness.
• Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and innovations in mental health treatment to continuously improve care delivery.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders, strong evidence-based treatment approaches, and cultural competence in practice.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy using culturally responsive methods.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills with the ability to respond to high-pressure situations with calmness.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• Commitment to maintaining professional integrity and ethical boundaries.

• At least two years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, working directly with a similar patient population.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment, enhancing collaborative patient care.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles and best practices for diverse and vulnerable populations.

The salary range for this position is competitive, falling between $70,000 and $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our compensation package also includes:
