Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to understand clients' unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, treating each client as an individual.
  • Implement mindfulness-based strategies, such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to facilitate stress management and emotional regulation.
  • Lead individual therapy sessions incorporating mindfulness exercises, guided imagery, and breathing techniques, aimed at promoting self-awareness and emotional balance.
  • Facilitate group workshops, providing a safe environment for participants to engage with mindfulness practices and resilience-building techniques in a collaborative setting.
  • Document and track client progress meticulously, ensuring that all interactions and interventions are recorded in compliance with organizational policies and best practices.
  • Participate in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights and best practices, enhancing the overall treatment approach and client outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to deepen your skills in mindfulness counseling and stay current with the latest therapeutic methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and experience in incorporating mindfulness techniques into therapeutic assessments and interventions.

Preferred Experience
