This role offers an attractive annual salary range of USD 80,000 โ€“ 105,000, alongside a hire-on bonus.

Work Environment

This position is designed for a remote work arrangement, allowing for flexibility in daily schedules that promote a positive work-life balance. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans, engaging in pre-crisis intervention strategies as needed.
  • Document client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory requirements to ensure quality care.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and therapeutic methodologies to support client assessments and ongoing treatment adjustments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, implement, and evaluate positive behavior support plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Participate in licensing and accreditation processes actively, contributing to maintaining high operational standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, service systems, state agencies, and community partners to enhance connectivity and accessibility to mental health resources.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with various organizations to promote program visibility, collaboration, and funding opportunities.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through conferences and training sessions, showcasing your expertise in mental health counseling and representing Atlantic Healthcare Clinic at community events.
  • Advocate for and embody the mission and values of Atlantic Healthcare Clinic in all professional interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the operational needs of the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMHC will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing emotional distress, substance use challenges, and those with developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries. By providing a supportive and understanding approach, you will help clients navigate their recovery journeys while fostering self-sufficiency and community involvement.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
  • Possession of an independent LMHC license by the state board is mandatory.
